Limited Lifetime Warranty — Overview Coverage: The warranty typically covers breakdowns of specified components—often the powertrain (engine, transmission, and drive axle)—for as long as you own the vehicle. Coverage is valid within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. The warranty is non-transferable and non-cancellable and has no cash value. Benefits: Protection against costly repairs for covered components; peace of mind for the original owner; in most cases no deductible for covered repairs. Exclusions: Coverage is limited to the lesser of the covered repair cost, the vehicle’s actual cash value before the claim, or the purchase price paid (excluding taxes, title, negative equity, license, and F&I products). Vehicles older than 9 model years or over 100,000 miles are typically ineligible. Salvage-title, flood-damaged, total-loss, or true?mileage?unknown (TMU) vehicles are excluded. Aftermarket part failures, consequential damages, and most commercial use are excluded. Incidental losses such as lost wages, lost time, loss of use, or inconvenience are not covered. Manufacturer, dealer, or repair facility coverage takes precedence—this warranty pays only for extra costs not covered elsewhere. Other Terms: If benefits are paid, the customer may be required to assign rights of recovery to the provider and cooperate on any claims-related matters. Customer Requirements (to maintain eligibility) Follow the Manufacturer’s Maintenance Schedule: Service the vehicle per the Owner’s Manual. Keep receipts/work orders showing VIN, mileage at time of service, maintenance performed, and service dates. Proof may be requested; lack of proof can result in denial of coverage. Return for Complimentary Powertrain Inspection: Return to the selling dealer every seven (7) years for a complimentary powertrain inspection, completed within sixty (60) days of each seven-year anniversary of the warranty start date. Monitor Vehicle Warning Systems: Ensure gauges, the odometer, and warning lights (oil, temperature, etc.) are functioning before driving. If a warning indicates a problem, safely stop and shut off the engine immediately. Maintain the Vehicle at Customer’s Expense: Perform all required maintenance (oil changes, fluid checks, lubrication, etc.) per manufacturer specifications and at the customer’s expense. Warranty Term: Valid only for the original purchaser or lessee; coverage ends upon sale, transfer, or lease termination. Failure to meet these requirements may result in loss of coverage
